Harmony Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Server to support events at the DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach (near Convention Center) in Virginia Beach, VA. The role entails setting tables, serving guests, and maintaining a clean station in line with hotel policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of hotel banquet experience. Staff must be able to lift 20–40 lbs and communicate in English, with opportunities to excel in guest service and upselling.

Responsibilities

• Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly.
• Keep station neat and clean while servicing guests per policies.
• Use proper in-room clearing and buffet or other service equipment.
• Assist Lead Banquet Server in setting up/breaking down buffet or other tables and equipment.
• Greet and serve guests following guidelines for food and beverage service.
• Follow guest check and money handling procedures for a-la-carte and beverages.
• Complete assigned side work.
• Know the menu for each function and explain major ingredients and preparation methods.
• Know and use suggestive selling techniques.
