Job summary

Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a Banquet Server to support event service, prep work, and post-event closeout tasks in our venues. You will collaborate with kitchen staff and event teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet rooms, assisting with food and beverage service, handling utensils and tableware safely, delivering meals promptly, answering guest questions, and aiding with cleanup and inventory after events.

Responsibilities

• Assists with banquet room and table prep prior to events.
• Assists with food/buffet preparation before and during the event.
• Ensures safe food handling guidelines are followed by self and team members.
• Delivers food from the kitchen and/or prep area in a timely manner.
• Serves appetizers and plated dinners to guests.
• Takes drink orders and serves beverages.
• Responds to guest questions and/or requests in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Assists with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down.
• Works as a member of the team, communicates with team members and supervisor to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
