Job summary

Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort is seeking a Banquet Server to provide attentive, friendly service to guests during meals and events. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver food and beverages, prepare the bill, and assist with side work to prep for the next shift.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting during peak periods, operating the POS system, and ensuring proper food presentation and temperature. A pre-employment drug test is required.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and dining room/service functions knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for up to five hours.
• Ability to work under time pressure with a positive attitude.
• Pre-employment drug test required, arranged by Grand Falls upon offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Be committed to excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure food and beverages are served with consistent presentation and proper temperature.
• Assist with cleanliness, care and inventories of china, glass, flatware and banquet equipment.
• Exhibit team spirit when working with colleagues and other departments.
• Follow sanitation procedures and safety guidelines.
• Communicate any special requests or guest concerns to the captain or banquet manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
