Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet operations preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions suitable for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned tables for events and banquets.
• Retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas and equipment.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide attentive service during events.
• Handle guest inquiries and assist with seating when required.
