Job summary

Banquet Server position at University of Cincinnati Main Campus in Cincinnati, OH. Part-time role with varying shifts; pay is $15 per hour. You will deliver food and beverage service for catered events, supporting a range of service styles from buffets to plated meals and passed service.

Training, event setup, and breakdown are included, with emphasis on guest satisfaction and timely, professional service. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, prior banquet/food service experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet age requirements to serve alcohol and have active certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage services at catered events including meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions.
• Support service styles from casual buffets to formal plated meals and passed service.
• Assist with event setup, service execution, and breakdown.
• Maintain tables, stations and presentation standards; clear and reset as needed.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time with reliable attendance.
