Job summary

Sodexo at University of Cincinnati is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to lead on-site banquet and catered event operations. You will supervise Banquet Captains and Servers, ensure events adhere to BEOs, service standards, and client expectations, and manage readiness, staffing, and guest satisfaction.

You will work varied shifts in an event venue setting, may support off-site functions, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
2–4 years banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations.
Must meet minimum age for alcohol service per regulations.
Working knowledge of POS systems and event service processes.
TIPS or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown for quality and efficiency.
Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Attend scheduled shifts on time and reliably.
Oversee staff and ensure adherence to BEOs and client requirements.
