Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.
• Must maintain a valid alcohol-service certification (TIPS/TEAM or equivalent) per state requirements.
• A food handler certification may also be required per state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage services for catered events at the university site.
• Support event setup, service execution, and breakdown under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, stations, and work areas during events.
• Assist with presenting standards and timely service during events.
