Job summary

The Abbey Resort in Fontana-on-Geneva Lake, WI seeks a Banquet Server to set up and service banquet functions with precision and hospitality. You will work within a lively resort environment, delivering outstanding guest experiences and collaborating with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include stage setup, serving, breaking down events, and maintaining back hall organization; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years Food and Beverage experience
• Pleasant and helpful personality
• Neat, clean person with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have command of the English language
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to stand for full shift
• Good hearing and vision with or without corrective lenses
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
• Able to carry trays full of food/dishes

Responsibilities

• Set up for functions to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and put out table centerpieces.
• Service to include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the tables.
• Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
• Maintaining organization of back hall and storerooms.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
