Sonesta International Hotels is seeking energetic Banquet Servers to deliver exceptional food and beverage service at weddings, meetings, conferences, and special events across our Houston venues. You will set up, serve, and break down banquet spaces, ensuring presentation and hospitality standards are upheld.

Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced events, communicate well with teams, and are guest-focused. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, hotel, catering, or food service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills with a professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced events environment.
• Attention to detail, presentation, and cleanliness standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, professional food & beverage service during banquets and events.
• Set up, maintain, and break down banquet spaces and service stations.
• Serve food and drinks while upholding presentation and timing standards.
• Assist guests and address requests to ensure a memorable event experience.
• Coordinate with Banquet Captains, Culinary teams, and F&B leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness across banquet spaces and back-of-house areas.
• Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Assist with buffet replenishment, tray passing, and transitions as needed.
• Support high-volume events with professionalism and guest focus.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented host atmosphere.
