Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Las Vegas is seeking a Part Time Cook for evening shifts to support its hotel dining team. You will prepare meals, maintain cleanliness, and help with banquet service while meeting Hilton standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in kitchen prep, can follow recipes, communicate clearly with staff, and lift up to 45 pounds. This role offers competitive benefits, free parking, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Clear communication with servers, managers, and culinary staff.
• Ability to follow recipes and menu specifics.
• Ability to reach, bend and lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, meeting Federal, State, and Local standards.
• Ensure organized and clean storage areas for all food.
• Ensure that all food items are properly handled and stored at the end of the shift.
• Properly rotate inventory (FIRST IN - FIRST OUT).
• Prepare food per specifications for lunch, dinner, and banquets.
• Pre-prep and store food for the restaurant and banquets.
• Maintain clean and orderly storage areas and proper product pars.
• Clean workstation as-you-go and leave it stocked and clean.
• Work with supervisor/manager to create specials to provide additional menu variety and use up available food.
• Maintain control over food security through regular inventories, proper portioning, and correct lock up procedures and production methods.

Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to):
