Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This role delivers exceptional banquet and event service to members and guests, maintains event setup and presentation, and upholds the club's standards of hospitality and service excellence.

The Banquet Server will report to the Banquet Captain and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and contribute to executing successful club events while ensuring a warm, polished

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a full-service restaurant, private club, banquet service, or similar hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of basic table service procedures and service standards.
• Understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional member and guest service.
• Professional, positive, and hospitality-focused demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to safely lift and carry banquet service items and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain punctual and dependable attendance.
• Prepare banquet tables and event spaces, ensuring proper setup and presentation of glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, chairs, tables, and decorative elements.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to review daily specials, event details, and operational updates.
• Greet members and guests immediately with a warm and welcoming attitude.
• Guide members and guests throughout their dining experience and provide attentive, personalized service.
• Communicate effectively with banquet leadership regarding service flow and event timing.
• Clean assigned stations and complete side work responsibilities throughout and after events.
• Check out with management prior to the end of each shift.
