Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Banquet Server to provide attentive food and beverage service for weddings, galas, and member events. You report to the Banquet Captain and assist the F&B team in delivering memorable service that reflects the club's standards of hospitality.

The role emphasizes setup, coordinating with event staff, greeting guests, and maintaining an impeccable appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in a full-service restaurant, private club, banquet service, or similar hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of basic table service procedures and service standards.
• Understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional member and guest service.
• Professional, positive, and hospitality-focused demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to safely lift and carry banquet service items and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive banquet and event service to members and guests.
• Maintain banquet tables and event spaces with proper setup and presentation.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to review daily specials, event details, and updates.
• Greet members and guests with a warm, welcoming attitude and guide them through their dining experience.
• Communicate with banquet leadership regarding service flow and event timing.
• Clean stations and complete side work during and after events.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts of china, glassware, and silverware.
