Job summary

Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking hospitality professionals for its banquet and event spaces. The role focuses on delivering excellent guest service, serving meals at banquets, and keeping rooms presentable.

You will work with the banquet team to prepare rooms, assist the Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef, oversee dining room service, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient event flow in a vibrant urban hotel.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to read, speak, listen, and comprehend English.
• Alcohol Awareness Certificate.
• Ability to work in varying conditions and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and carry out daily duties.
• Serve meals at banquet events as required.
• Assist in setting up breakfast, lunch, or dinner and ensuring tables are properly set.
• Support the Banquet Captain, F&B Manager, and Executive Chef with preparation needs.
• Oversee dining room service and ensure timely setup for functions.
