Job summary

Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join our banquet team as servers. You will perform banquet side-work, follow service standards, attend to guests during functions, and coordinate with the Banquet Manager on any housekeeping or equipment needs.

A Ramp and ServSafe certification must be presented upon hire; you will work in restaurant, lounge and kitchen areas with exposure to varied temperatures and cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• Must present Ramp and ServSafe certifications upon hire.
• Must adhere to liquor liability laws.
• Must attend designated pre-meal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Banquet side-work as designated by the Banquet Captain.
• Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
• Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
• Report to Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
• Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
• Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
