Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown adjacent Revel + Roost is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to join the events team. You will set up meeting rooms and ballrooms for banquets, assist with food and beverage service, and ensure spaces are neat and prepared for social functions.

Candidates should be able to work nights, weekends or holidays, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and deliver exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a banquet server or similar role in hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms and ballrooms for banquets, meetings, and social functions.
• Provide food and beverage service for functions and maintain/clean meeting rooms.
• Replenish supplies, pick up trash, wipe spills, and respond to guest requests during events.
• Refresh the room between breaks by replacing supplies and ensuring equipment functions.
• Keep banquet area clean and free from trash and food particles.

Roost adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown near Market Square are looking for a Banquet Server to join their team. This is a part-time position and will work events in Roost. As a banquet server you will set up meeting rooms and ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other social functions. Provide food and beverage for functions and maintain and clean all meeting rooms.Replenish as needed or as ordered, pick up trash and wipe up spills. During a meeting, respond to all guest requests replacing supplies, as needed ensuring proper function of all equipment.When guests are on break, refresh the meeting room by placing clean glasses and fill water pitchers on tables and remove any soiled items. Keep banquet area clean and free from trash and food particles.
