Job summary

The Barnett in New Orleans seeks a dedicated Banquet Server to deliver high-quality food service and guest experiences at events and meals. You will work closely with banquet teams to set up, serve plated meals, and ensure smooth service from start to finish.

Ideal candidates are energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of communicating clearly in English. Prior hotel or banquet experience is a plus, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is often required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
• Previous hotel/banquet experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled start time in uniform and be ready for work.
• Assist with setting banquet tables to meet function specs.
• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including condiments and accompaniments.
• Be familiar with menu offerings to answer questions about ingredients.
• Ensure guest satisfaction during service and respond to requests promptly.
• Assist with side work and restocking banquet shelves as needed.
• Maintain safety, attendance, and hotel policies at all times.
• Support environmental initiatives and teamwork as directed by supervisors.
