Job summary

Sheraton San Diego Resort is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service during banquet events. You will set up, serve and attend to guests with a guest‑centric mindset, ensuring accuracy, speed and courteous interaction throughout each function.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and lift up to 50 lbs, while adhering to safety and liquor regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of beverages, recipes and correct glassware and garnishes.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must follow state liquor regulations and hotel service standards.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set tables according to service standards and prepare banquet stations.
• Serve food and beverages during banquet events with accuracy and courtesy.
• Retrieve alcoholic beverages and serve in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment.
• Assist guests and respond promptly to special requests during events.
• Assist with setup, breakdown and restocking for each function.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards and Sheraton brand guidelines.
