Job summary

Hotel Cerro is seeking a Banquet Server to provide attentive service at events from setup through breakdown. You will serve guests, answer menu questions, buss and reset tables, and assist with room setup. The role requires 1–3 years of high-volume experience, 21+ with Safe Server certification, and a polished, guest-focused demeanor.

Qualifications

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English in the workplace.
Must have excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol and hold Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification.

Responsibilities

Serve guests food and drinks during events with professionalism.
Buss and set tables, and assist with buffet or menu questions.
Assist with event room setup, and check china, glassware, silverware, and linen.
Ensure food is served at correct temperature and properly arranged.
Handle equipment safely and assist with deep cleaning of the outlet.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
