Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience in F&B
• Knowledge of health regulations and liquor laws
• Banquet experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares function site; ensures meeting room is set per specifications
• Serves food and beverage items to guests per established guidelines
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and service areas per Banquet Event Order
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager
• Maintains clean banquet service areas, catering kitchen, coolers, and equipment
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in banquet or catering areas
• Ensures guests receive excellent customer service by anticipating needs
• Incorporates safe work practices in performance of duties
• Performs other duties as required; maintains regular and reliable attendance
