Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Banquet Server in Dallas, TX to assist with event setup and breakdown and serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous, professional manner. You will follow the hotel’s high standards, attend pre-event briefings, and ensure timely service and room readiness for each function.

Responsibilities include replenishing beverages, bussing, resetting rooms between events, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while adhering to company policies

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage prep, service standards and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to follow written product labeling instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room per Banquet Event Order and instructions.
• Attend pre-event stand-up meetings for function details.
• Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
• Serve food/beverage to Banquet Captain’s standards.
• Bus dishes and reset banquet rooms after events.
• Restock beverages and replenish condiments as needed.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain neat and groomed appearance and assist other banquet staff.
