Job summary

Silver Creek Valley Country Club in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to join a fast-paced hospitality team within Troon. You will set up banquet spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests receive excellent service while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Hourly pay ranges from $18.45 to $30.00 with benefits and opportunities for growth within a globally respected organization. This position emphasizes energy, reliability, and guest satisfaction in a dynamic club

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of banquet experience or training
• Must be at least 18 years old to meet state age requirements for alcohol service
• Demonstrates energy and motivation
• Knowledge of banquet setup
• Regular and reliable attendance

Responsibilities

• Prepare function site and ensure meeting room is set as specified
• Serve food and beverages to guests per guidelines
• Set dining tables, buffets, and service areas per Banquet Event Order
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the department manager
• Help maintain a clean banquet or catering area and equipment
• Assist in inventory control and monitor waste
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs
• Adopt safe work practices in job performance
