Job summary

Aramark is seeking a server to deliver outstanding guest experiences at events and venues in the San Jose area. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and help create memorable experiences for guests while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in server or food service roles preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serves food and beverage to guests according to orders and banquet menus.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and other offerings.
• Maintains appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events.
• Replenishes food and beverage products.
• Adheres to alcohol service policies and checks IDs.
• Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests' needs.
• Breaks down and cleans/sanitizes food service areas and equipment.
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and ensures security of company assets.
