Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Lincoln Downtown is seeking a Banquet Server to enhance guest experiences during hotel events. You will interact with guests, serve food and drinks, and help set up and break down banquet spaces with efficiency and professionalism.

Requires high school diploma and prior serving experience; excellent communication and presentation are essential. This hourly position offers opportunities for growth within the hotel’s events team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous serving experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the start of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
• Prepare rooms for use; adjust lights, sound, and temperature as guests arrive.
• Communicate needs with lead staff and ensure events run on time.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the banquet space.
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout events.
• Deliver meals and beverages, remove courses, and replenish utensils as needed.
