Qualifications

• 2-4 years of food service experience, preferably banquet service.
• Experience in a 4- or 5-star venue with synchronized service.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up for functions: draping tables, silverware, napkins, drinks, centerpieces.
• Serve food and beverages; pick up from back hall and deliver to tables; clear and settle dishes.
• Buss and break down tables; clean back hall and organize storerooms; manage linen and centerpieces.
• Prepare AM/PM break stations with coffee, tea, snacks, beverages.
• Assist with event room setup per meal period and table needs; stock workstations.
• Explain menu items, cooking methods and ingredients; accommodate dietary requests.
• Provide warm welcome/farewell and offer property information to guests.
• Coordinate with staff and ensure final quality check on food/beverage items.
• Monitor tables for satisfaction; address guest issues promptly.
• Ensure safety and report issues like broken glass or cords.
