Job summary

Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment in Arizona seeks a banquet operations team member to take food and beverage orders, prepare drinks, and provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced casino banquet setting.

Responsibilities include serving courses, setting up and breaking down events, maintaining cleanliness, and handling POS transactions while complying with TOGE and liquor laws. Evening and weekend shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations and guest service.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card.
• Ability to obtain TIPS certification.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English.
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and serve beverages.
• Provide a positive dining experience according to brand standards.
• Set up for events and strike/reset after events.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and trash areas.
• Handle cash register duties as needed.
• Work in casino banquet areas with potential evening/weekend shifts.
