Job summary

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn in Lambertville, NJ, seeks a Banquet Server to support event operations and guest service. Responsibilities include room preparation, menu delivery, and coordinating with the Event Manager to fulfill contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review Event Orders at the start of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
• Prepare rooms for use; adjust lights, sound, and temperature as needed.
• Communicate with the Event Manager regarding special needs or concerns.
• Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of all equipment.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the venue.
• Set up and break down rooms.
• Re-set rooms for next event if within one day of previous event; if not, set two sample tables for client tours.
• Deliver dining items, fulfill guest needs, remove courses, replenish utensils, refill glasses.
• Undertake any reasonable task and secondary duties as assigned by Management.

Job Overview

• Review Event Orders (EO’s) at the beginning of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
• Prepare rooms for use; adjusting lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed for before guests arrive.
• Be in communication with the Event Manager regarding any special needs or concerns.
• Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of all equipment.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Venue.
• Room Set up and Break down.
• Ensure that rooms are re-set for next event contract if it is within one day of previous event. If not, 2 sample tables should be set for client tours.
• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
• Undertake any reasonable task and secondary duties as assigned by Management.
