About the Role:

As Banquet Server, you will play a pivotal role in creating a unique and memorable experience that will leave a lasting impression on our guests. A Banquet Server is responsible for assisting in the preparation of the event as well as serving food and beverages to our guests during banquet/catering functions.

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet tables, retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guests according to hotel specifications and group requirements, courteously and efficiently.
• Take beverage orders and collect payments where specified.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.
• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders and carry out the instructions given on the Banquet Event Orders.
• Work well with co-workers as part of a team.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Restaurant or Banquet Food Server.
• Hilton brand experience is beneficial.
• Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hours.
• Excellent English communication skills; able to read, write, and speak fluently.
