Job description

Responsibilities include:

  1. Read BEO and know how to complete a set-up.
  2. Set tables in assigned areas correctly and uniformly.
  3. Keep stations neat and clean while servicing guests per established policies and procedures.
  4. Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray breakdown for buffet or other special foodservice tables and equipment.
  5. Assist Banquet Captains in setting up and breaking down buffet or other special foodservice tables and equipment.
  6. Greet and serve guests following policies and procedures regarding the service of food and beverage.
  7. Follow all guest check and money-handling procedures when serving à la carte and beverage orders.
  8. Complete assigned side work.
  9. Assist in setting up function rooms.
  10. Maintain cleanliness of the back-of-house storage and walkways.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain or Food & Beverage Manager.

Qualifications include:

  • Excellent planning, organization, and guest service skills.
  • Strong motivational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Banquet experience preferred.
