Job summary

Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University is seeking a Banquet Server to set up and prepare banquet rooms for events, serve and buss tables, and tear down spaces after functions at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center. The role is full-time, with evening shifts and some weekends, offering a $19 per hour rate and a comprehensive benefits package.

Ideal candidates bring friendly, outgoing personalities, F&B experience, and the ability to carry large trays; certifications in food safety

Qualifications

• Food & Beverage experience is preferred.
• Must be able to carry large trays; training provided.
• Certification: Basic Food Safety and TABC within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prep banquet rooms for events.
• Serve and buss tables; clear and tear down banquet rooms.
• Bartend events including liquor, beer, wine.
• Maintain back hall cleanliness and storerooms.
• Location: Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

BASIC FUNCTION: The Banquet Server will set up and prepare banquet room for banquet events. The Server will also serve and buss tables as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.

• Status: Full Time
• Availability: Evening Shift and some weekends
• Pay: $19 per hour, flat rate (no tips)
• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center

Essential Functions

• Set up for events to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, polishing silverware and glasses, and put out table centerpieces.
• Service to include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the tables.
• Bartend events including butler passing drinks, and liquor, beer and wine bars.
• Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
• Responsibilities also include cleaning of back hall and organizing of storerooms.
