Job summary

Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University seeks a Banquet Server for full-time evening shifts and some weekends. You will set up banquet spaces, serve and bus tables, and assist in bartending for events at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, Texas.

Qualifications include friendly demeanor, ability to carry large trays, and certifications in Food Safety and Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission within 30 days of start. Competitive hourly pay of $19.00.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION: The Banquet Server will set up and prepare banquet room for banquet events. The Server will also serve and bus tables as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Set up for events to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, polishing silverware and glasses, and put out table centerpieces. Service to include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the tables. Bartend events including butler passing drinks, and liquor, beer and wine bars. Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming. Responsibilities also include cleaning of back hall and organizing of storerooms. Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center

What are we looking for?

QUALIFICATIONS:

Friendly and outgoing personality. Likes to talk to people Food & Beverage experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to carry large trays of food. We will train you how! Basic Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.
