Banquet Server - Part-Time

Introduction: The high-volume Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, which serves George Washington's Estate visitors and the Washington Metropolitan area, is currently seeking to fill Banquet Server positions.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $2.13 per hour plus gratuity. Average hourly wages typically range from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, inclusive of tips.

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Coordination and implementation of food service for banquets and private events
• Responsible for guest/client relations

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of banquet server experience preferred
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced dining environment with frequent interaction with guests and team members. Noise levels and activity levels may vary throughout the day.
