Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glassware, and place settings according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow established service standards and instructions from the banquet captain or supervisor.
• Assist with buffet service, plated dinners, cocktail receptions, and catered events.
• Refill beverages, clear dishes, and maintain clean and organized dining areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate concerns to the supervisor.
• Break down tables and event spaces after functions and return equipment to designated areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, fellow servers, and event coordinators.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service throughout each event.
