Job Responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests, including setup and breakdown of tables, buffet lines, stations, beverage preparation, food service, and cleaning of tables during convention functions.

- Deliver guest service following the Pinnacle Way, exhibiting friendliness, approachability, politeness, and courtesy. Be proactive in assisting guests and team members, and responsive to their needs and questions.
- Learn and familiarize with all Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc.'s room outlets and server functions, and answer general property-related questions.
- Provide excellent guest service by positively influencing interactions with guests and team members.
- Set tables, prepare beverages, and arrange condiments appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet areas.
- Collaborate with other service personnel to ensure high-quality service.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout functions.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently through the POS system.
- Oversee setup and breakdown of functions, ensuring readiness for subsequent events.
- Coordinate with banquet staff and restaurant personnel to deliver excellent service.
- Check and restock supplies as needed.
- Assist with overall functions and maintain standards in dining and serving areas.
- Know and adhere to all operational standards, including table numbers, hours, setup, and dress code.
- Serve alcohol responsibly, adhering to training and regulations to prevent excessive drinking.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling, storage, and cleanliness.
- Comply with all relevant liquor laws and regulations, including those related to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper use of all equipment and areas.
- Attend scheduled training programs and complete all required tests.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Handle guest interactions with resilience and work harmoniously with coworkers.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Perform all other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Experience carrying large trays with up to ten covered dishes.
- Knowledge of wine service and table etiquette.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency with equipment such as chafing dishes, plate warmers, and coffee urns.
- Ability to inspect and maintain responsible areas.
- Effective movement around banquet areas.
- Effective communication in English with guests and staff.
- Ability to review and understand relevant documentation.
- Strong multitasking skills.
