Job summary

On-site positions are available with on-call shifts to support banquet events at Hyatt Valencia. The position offers CA pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with background checks required prior to employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet function areas by arranging table linens, china, silverware, glassware, centerpieces, beverage stations, and preparing perishable items for service.
• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests with prompt, professional service throughout the event.
• Clear tables and service items after the banquet, including dishes, linens, and used equipment, ensuring thorough cleanup.
• Ensure proper storage of all items to maintain inventory integrity and prevent waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for service.
• Prepare for future banquets by folding napkins, refilling condiments, and other tasks to ensure readiness for upcoming events.
• Provide relief to colleagues by covering breaks during shifts, ensuring smooth operations.
• Proactively greet guests in a warm and friendly manner to enhance their experience.

The Banquet Server will set up banquet tables, including linens, place settings, and centerpieces; serve food and beverages with attention to detail; and efficiently clear dishes and table linens, ensuring all tasks are completed professionally and in full compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests with prompt, professional service throughout the event.
• Clear tables and service items after the banquet, including dishes, linens, and any used equipment, ensuring thorough and efficient cleanup.
• Ensure proper storage of all items, from equipment to perishable foods, to maintain inventory integrity and prevent waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for service.
• Prepare for future banquets by folding napkins, refilling condiments, and performing other necessary tasks to ensure readiness for upcoming events.
• Provide relief to colleagues by covering breaks during shifts, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
