Job summary

Hilton Indianapolis is seeking a Banquet Server to contribute to memorable events by delivering attentive, professional service for banquets, conferences, weddings, and other functions. You will help with setup, serving, and post-event cleanup to uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities include arranging rooms, staffing beverage stations, greeting guests, keeping work areas clean, and supporting teammates during shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior guest service or server experience preferred; banquet/catering experience a plus.

• Set up banquet function rooms with linens, china, silverware, glassware, centerpieces, beverage stations, and other required service items.
• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Clear tables and remove dishes, linens, and service items following banquet events.
• Ensure proper storage of banquet equipment, supplies, and perishable food items.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas throughout each shift.
• Prepare for upcoming events by folding napkins, restocking condiments, and completing other banquet preparation tasks.
• Provide team support by relieving coworkers for scheduled breaks as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
