Job summary

Woodside Communities’ The Reserve Club in South Carolina seeks a guest-focused hospitality team member to support banquet operations and a la carte dining. You will deliver a seamless guest experience with a positive attitude and maintain cleanliness across event spaces and dining rooms.

The role emphasizes greeting members warmly, addressing inquiries promptly, and collaborating with Food and Beverage managers and other departments to ensure high standards are met.

Qualifications

• Efficient verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience in a country club environment preferred but not required.
• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Flexibility with alternating shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a seamless guest experience in banquets and a la carte dining.
• Maintain total cleanliness and smooth club operation.
• Set up, breakdown, clean, and replenished event spaces and dining rooms.
• Greet members warmly with eye contact and a friendly demeanor.
• Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assist team members and other departments to sustain positive working relationships.

Specific Responsibilities

• Provides a seamless experience for all guests with expertise and a great attitude in banquet operations and a la carte dining while maintaining specific side work.
• Ensures the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the club.
• Setup, breakdown, cleanliness, and replenishment of event spaces and dining rooms.
• Understands the importance of name recognition and warmly greets each member with a smile and direct eye contact.
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

Position Requirements
