Union Square Events in New York City seeks a Scheduling and Payroll Generalist to oversee banquet scheduling and payroll for the Banquet Department at a high-volume hotel venue. You will ensure accurate staffing, payroll accuracy, and labor compliance while supporting bartender scheduling and cost controls.

The role emphasizes timely schedule optimization, confidential handling of payroll data, and collaboration with department managers to resolve discrepancies and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience administering banquet scheduling and payroll.
• Ability to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain weekly banquet server schedules for full-time and on-call associates based on forecasted business levels.
• Assist with creating and maintaining bartender schedules.
• Review event forecasts, BEOs, staffing guidelines, and labor standards to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure accurate processing of hours worked, meals, premiums, overtime, holiday pay, and PTO.
• Audit time punches and investigate discrepancies before payroll submission.
• Partner with managers to resolve missed punches, scheduling conflicts, and payroll exceptions.
• Monitor labor productivity and provide reports identifying trends and opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
