Job summary

The role requires working flexible hours including weekends/holidays, passing TIPS and food handler training, and supervising banquet staff under the Banquet Manager.

Qualifications

• Must pass TIPS certification/alcohol awareness training and food handler training.
• Knowledge or ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Eye for detail and understanding of banquet operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest quality service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Serve guests by fulfilling their food and beverage needs and collecting payment.
• Oversee all banquets operations and supervise banquet personnel.
• Respond to guest complaints promptly.
• Assist Banquet Manager with promotions or changes.
• Prepare and submit required reports (wage progress, payroll, revenue, schedules).
• Ensure banquet areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Attend required meetings and manage banquet staff performance.
