Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of banquet and F&B experience with supervisory duties.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Proven ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality, service and operating standards established by the venue to ensure consistency.
• Supervise day-of banquets: assign work, communicate objectives, enforce policies.
• Ensure rooms are set up and service aligns with banquet event orders; review details with staff and kitchen.
• Coordinate with kitchen on menus, delivery times, and any AV or technical needs.
• Greet guests, respond to requests and complaints promptly, and apply service recovery guidelines.
• Review guest checks with clients after events and obtain signatures.
• Maintain procedures to secure inventory, equipment, and money; replenish supplies as needed; minimize waste.
• Ensure banquet equipment is ready for the next day and facilities are clean and stocked.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across departments.
• Must have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of banquet/food & beverage supervisory experience.
