Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a Banquet Manager to ensure the overall effective operation of the banquet department while adhering to health regulations and liquor laws.

You will lead banquet staff, drive revenue, control costs, supervise training, and maintain service standards across a portfolio of high-end hotels in the Washington, D.C. area, fostering guest satisfaction, safety, compliance, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years progressive banquet experience required, including at least 1 year supervisory/management.
• Must have strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasional 150-pound keg; extended hours may be required.
• Open availability; banquet experience in hotel industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet outlets operation and ensure goals are met.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and service standards; address complaints.
• Coach and develop banquet staff; track training and performance.
• Support revenue goals and manage labor within budget.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Maintain clear communication and SOP adherence across the team.
