Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive Catering & Banquet operations experience
• Experience leading large teams, both in bargaining and non-bargaining environments
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong organizational, analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proactive with priorities and deadlines
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Licensing/permits as required

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Catering & Banquets operations for Rio Las Vegas
• Directly manage Assistant Catering & Banquet management team and hourly staff
• Billing and processing event payments
• Ensure events meet timelines and guest expectations
• Maintain exceptional guest service
• Build and maintain customer relationships for Rio Las Vegas
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards across F&B spaces
• Communicate market trends and property events to the team
• Assess operational opportunities with F&B leadership
• Oversee inventory and purchasing in all areas of oversight
• Engage in financial performance and analytics metrics
• Schedule hourly team members and provide daily plans for Banquet Servers and Bartenders
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth events
