Job summary

Caesars Palace Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Director of Banquets to lead Banquet Operations for the hotel and convention center. The role coordinates Convention Set-Up, Bar Operations, and Banquet Management, working with Stewarding, Culinary, and Audio Visual to ensure timely information and event success.

You will direct and oversee banquet staff, manage costs, and align policies with departmental goals. A strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, staffing, and budget development is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 4-6 years of a manager level in Banquet or Catering and Convention experience.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates events with Banquet Manager and staff to ensure flawless execution.
• Minimizes costs while maximizing operational profits and maintains service standards.
• Oversees coordination with Stewarding, Culinary, and Audio Visual for event success.
• Reviews P&L and financials; develops budgets with the Banquets team.
• Maintains high guest satisfaction through staff leadership and training.
• Plans pre-function briefings with servers, ensures VIP coverage, and accurate banquet checks.
