Job summary

Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa in Johnson City, Texas, seeks a Banquet Captain to supervise banquet staff and coordinate all food and beverage services for events. You will manage Banquet Event Orders, handle client communication, and ensure adherence to hotel standards for setup, service, and hygiene.

Position requires hospitality experience and knowledge of liquor regulations; you will also work in the restaurant during off-peak banquet times.

Qualifications

• Two years previous Banquet Captain Experience preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of state liquor regulations; ability to identify when a patron has had his/her alcohol limit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of banquet function with the event host.
• Maintain banquet logbook and update function sheets and BEOs.
• Check banquet rooms and kitchen areas for cleanliness and proper setup.
• Oversee all aspects of assigned banquet function activities for timely execution.
• Train and supervise staff for setup, service, and breakdown of banquets.
