The role involves supervising table setup, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include managing function room preparations, communicating with staff and guest hosts, and handling billing and post-event summaries.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.
• Knowledge of guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in English reading and communication.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to set realistic goals and maintain grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs the banquet staff in servicing all banquet activities.
• Supervise the setup of function rooms per event order specifications.
• Coordinate with kitchen, service, beverage, convention services and engineering to ensure timely execution.
• Supervise cleanup and storage of equipment.
• Enter billing information in the Delphi system and prepare daily summaries.
