Job summary

Houston Marriott in Houston, TX is hiring for a full-time banquet server. You will lead setup and breakdown, ensure flawless service, coordinate the flow of meals, and help the banquet team deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• At least 6 months of banquet food service experience.
• Leadership potential or experience is preferred.
• Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete within 90 days).
• Physical stamina to lift, bend, walk and stand during shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision-clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china.
• Coordinate the flow of service to ensure meals are served smoothly and on time.
• Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver top-notch guest experiences."
• Handle audio-visual setup and troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep the operation running on schedule.
