Job summary

Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson, AZ seeks a Banquet Captain to oversee all banquet service operations and ensure flawless events. You will lead staff, coordinate with Catering/Sales and Culinary teams, and manage setup to breakdown for each function.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Banquets, Food & Beverage, Conference Services or related discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees banquet service operations and ensures all banquet service details are executed.
• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at start of shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
• Supervise banquet staff; provide leadership in absence of Banquet Manager.
• Collaborate with Catering/Sales, F&B managers and culinary team to ensure quality service.
• Manage cost and quality control of banquet services.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in an organized, safe environment.
• Coordinate transportation of supplies and equipment with Guest Services and Maintenance.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned by Banquet Manager.
• Take initiative and resolve challenges with supervision when needed.
