Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown and Roost, an elevated event space near Market Square, is seeking a Banquet Manager to join their team.

The Banquet Manager will supervise and train the banquet staff, coordinate event orders, and ensure flawless setup of all function rooms. You will oversee food and beverage for events and work closely with the F&B, Sales and Kitchen teams to deliver outstanding experiences for clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and train all banquet team members.
• Execute event orders and ensure proper setup of function rooms and ballrooms.
• Coordinate food and beverage for events held in the hotel.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager, Sales Manager and Kitchen Manager to ensure events run smoothly.

The Banquet Manager supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of the banquet department, directing, training, and supervising all banquet team members. They execute all event orders and ensure set up of all function rooms and ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other social functions. This role is responsible for the coordination of food and beverage for events held in the hotel. The Banquet Manager works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Sales Manager and Kitchen Manager to ensure events run smoothly and client's needs are met.

Education and Experience

High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years related experience.

Banquet Supervisory Experience Required.
