Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown and Roost is seeking a Banquet Manager to lead the banquet team, coordinate events, and ensure flawless setup of function spaces near Market Square. You will supervise staff, manage event orders, and coordinate food and beverage for weddings, meetings, and social events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Banquet supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and participate in activities of the banquet department.
• Execute event orders and ensure setup of all function rooms and ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other social functions.
• Coordinate food and beverage for events and work with F&B, Sales, and Kitchen managers to ensure smooth operations.

The Banquet Manager supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of the banquet department, directing, training, and supervising all banquet team members. They execute all event orders and ensure set up of all function rooms and ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other social functions. This role isresponsible for the coordination of food and beverage for events held in the hotel. The Banquet Manager works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Sales Manager and Kitchen Manager to ensure events run smoothly and client's needs are met.
