Job summary

Riverwoods Conference Center in Logan, Utah is seeking a Banquet Cook to support both part-time and full-time schedules. You will follow recipes, supervise Line Cooks, and maintain clean, organized stations during busy events.

Candidates should have 5 years of Line Cook experience in hotels or resorts, be able to work all stations, show initiative, and handle varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, joining a team that delivers memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Line Cook in hotels/resorts.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• Strong work ethic and self-initiative.
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Direct, train, and monitor Line Cooks; maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks to complete; review priorities.
• Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift.
• Set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies. Breakdown work stations and complete closing duties at the end of last shift of the day.
• Inform the Sous Chef of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the day's tasks.
