Job summary

Legends Global/Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, FL, is hiring a part-time Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef as the second in command. The role is event-driven with early morning, late night, and weekend shifts, on-site at Pensacola Bay Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years in banquet facilities producing meals for large events.
• Two-year Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, or combination of education and experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes and banquet events per Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Order, receive, and prepare food items while maintaining food costs and budget goals.
• Train cooks and supervise line and prep staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment; assist with inventory and scheduling.
